For many many many years I have enjoyed the following - Galliano, sambuca, vermouth rosso & bianca,and campari is an everlasting celestial favourite. This week for the first time ever I tried the delightful grappa of Poggio Basso. As my wife of over half a century was making Christmas cake we decided to use the grappa and the flavour is so gripping that we have to make another one.
